What a verified badge means

A verified badge means the review was written after an invitation tied to a real transaction reference supplied by the business.

It does not mean the review is more trustworthy, and verified reviews are not weighted more heavily in the score. The badge tells you how the reviewer arrived, so you can judge it yourself.

Businesses must invite all customers, not only the ones they expect to be happy. Selective inviting is grounds for removing a profile.
